A renewed Jaffa apartment that preserves its Arab architectural character while adding a new vertical flow.

A new balcony overlooks the living room and turns the existing openings into part of the circulation.

A sensitive renovation that expands the apartment while keeping the original spatial rhythm alive.
YEH Apartment is a renovation and reconstruction of an apartment in
Jaffa. The project expands the home while preserving the beauty of
its Arab architectural language, maintaining the character of the
existing openings and the generous height of the original space.
A delicate use of metal and wood creates elements that are both
structural and aesthetic. These details define a new circulation
system to the second floor without interrupting the natural flow
through the existing openings.
The new upper level creates a quiet balcony overlooking the living
room, turning the apartment into a layered interior where old
masonry, black metal, warm wood, and light move together.
